We're a group of behavior virtuosos, personal trainers, and health coaches with training in sports nutrition, habit change, and corrective exercise.

We've coached every aspect of the health continuum, and we're great listeners. You may work with a specific coach, but we're all here to support you while you maximize your time with us.

Gain strength, build stamina, and create a solid foundation to tackle your vacation worry-free and ready to ride. Your coach will answer all your questions and make any exercise modifications via text or during predetermined 1-on-1 video check-ins at strategic points throughout the program. 

4 Months Premium 

You gain strength and stamina, and you receive regular 1-on-1 video support to address motivation dips and lifestyle challenges. Because we meet with you weekly, you receive all the benefits of our program as well as more personalized coaching to help you address your unique challenges.

Motivation evolves, and it's not natural to sustain it.  We're here when it fades to help you work through those moments by focusing on your strengths because when the couch calls, we all need reminders!  We're the boost, the fresh perspective, and the understanding nod.  In fact, we built in the science of motivation, knowing exactly when you'd need some support (hint:  it's right in the middle when the novelty fades and the finish feels oh-so-far!)

Build resilience

Anticipate the challenges—whether physical, psychological, or environmental. We help you build the skills to navigate whatever obstacle you're facing. This is because we know behavior and understand how brains adapt. We get the burden of perfection, and we never aim for it. We're great at listening, designing strategic workarounds, and focusing on progress. It’s the continuous appreciation for small victories that creates resilience.

Balance the load

The other side of work is the necessary recovery. Part of that recovery is room for things that help you thrive. It's part of the plan.

We're usually looking for a way to do less, not more because we understand that the quality of the miles matters. We took care to make things challenging, not stressful so that you can maintain a healthy mindset.

In The Wizard of Oz, Glinda the Good Witch told Dorothy that she always had the power to do as she wished, prompting the scarecrow to question why this wasn't revealed sooner. Glinda replied, 'Because she wouldn't have believed me. She had to learn it for herself.'

This moment captures something we deeply feel because helping people believe has always been the best part of a coach's job. Sure, it takes some knowledge and a little sparkle, but mostly, it takes ordinary people bravely reaching beyond what's comfortable until they realize their dream.

Throughout our two decades of coaching, we have often shared the image of Dorothy clicking her ruby slippers with a triumphant client who found their power and used it.

And we're eager for more of those moments.

As fitness transitions from childhoods filled with cartwheels, running barefoot, and climbing trees to boot camps, food logs, and picking heavy stuff up just to put it back down, the coaches at Gumption couldn't help but think there were better ways to build healthier bodies while still witnessing the triumph.

We pondered, what if we embraced fit travel and adventure, only with fewer burpees or low-level clerical work? Heather, Kris, and Summer envisioned this fresh approach and decided to support people in finding that same sweet spot where fitness goals fit snugly and comfortably into lifestyle pursuits.
